Today, while traveling in Mumbai, we met at auto driver who shared an inspiring tale about his daughter’s educational journey. He proudly recounted how she excelled in her 12th-grade exams and secured a spot in MBBS program, now in her third year. When their family visited their hometown in Uttar Pradesh, she received a grad welcome, a testament to the community’s recognition of her hard work.
However, the path wasn’t easy. When the driver initially approached the bank for an educational loan, they were not given much attention. But upon learning that his daughter was pursuing MBBS, the manager’s attitude changed entirely. He offered them tea, explained the formalities, and sanctioned the loan, showing the value of persistence and the transformative power of education.
The driver’s eyes welled up with emotion as he spoke, a testament to his dedication and hard work for his children’s future. At our destination, I offered him some extra money and encouraged him to buy sweets for his daughter, appreciating his unwavering commitment to her education.
